How true! As I read in a cartoon around 10 years ago: Why were we never afraid of snow when we were kids? Now we have radio and TV stations blaring "YOUR WINTER SURVIVAL STATION!!!" Survival? Since when does a few inches of snow or sub-zero temps constitute 'survival?' Those folks (the homeless) that need to heed the survival warning are more than likely not listening to the radio or watching TV anyhow! Great 'toons, Mike!
