Beard Baird

Odd, isn't it, for someone named after a razor blade to have such an aversion to shaving...

So, how long did it take you to grow that thing?
And why did you shave?

To whom it concerns

Dear. Mr. Gillett

I cannot thank you for your words of wisdom. I have a couple of books that contain Will's sketches and animation drawings from Aladdin and Hunchback, but seeing his other sketches from his school days would be a treat. Also, you had a mighty impressive beard, and it's a shame that you had to shave it off.

I'm working as hard as I can to get into the Animation program at Capilano College, here in Vancouver.

Besides studying from the courses on the ASIFA Animation archive website, I've been taking a lot of life drawing classes, as well for studying animals in motion, analyzing daily life, cartoons, etc.

I'm doing my damn best to get in, and if I can't, I'll still continue to be persistent, even if it takes me 1000 years to get in (I hope it doesn’t take THAT long.)

Thanks again for your kind words,

From an inspiring cartoonist/ artist

Bruce

So your great grandpa didn't like to shave either? Is it hard to colorize those old pictures?
